ONCE UPON A TIME.......

Don't all stories begin with once upon a time, there was a little girl who was so full of joy, excitement and wanting to have all the fun a 6 year old could have.  Life was good. There was only one glitch in her life.  Mom and dad never seemed to be happy with her so our little girl grew up with some ideas that changed her life.  She became very fearful that she was not doing the right thing, always wanting to please people and you know those words, people pleaser.  But our little girl, did grow up!

What am I saying in this blog?  Look in that mirror and become your own best cheerleader.  I am smart, I am confident, I am good looking or handsome, I have become my own person and I really like me.  Did you all do that?  We want to love ourselves and become what God wants us to be.
Let's stop this insanity of comparing ourselves to others.  You need change, then change!  Take one day at a time and remember,  look in that mirror.

Oh, by the way, that little girl is me.  I like me.  I read a quote, "I wish I'd had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.  Have a blessed day!   healthyhabitstoday.net

WHAT'S KEEPING YOU UP AT NIGHT??

More than 1/3 of adults get less than seven hours of sleep on a regular basis, according to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.  Lack of sleep affects job performance, relationships and the ability to perform routine tasks. Here are some steps to take to get the recommended seven to nine hours of uninterrupted sleep:

  1. Try to go to bed at the same time every night and get up at the same time every morning
  2. Put away your smartphone and other electronic devices at least an hour before bedtime
  3. Eat dinner three to four hours before you go to bed, and avoid caffeine within 4 to 6 hours
  4. Regular exercise can help you sleep, but avoid working out within four to five hours of your bedtime
  5. If you take a nap, do it in early afternoon, and don't nap longer than 20 to 30 minutes.
Have a nice night!  Sweet Dreams!   Harriet

Thought for the day:

Today you have a choice to make:  You can play it safe and stay in your comfort zone, doing the same thing you've always done, or you can step out, take a chance, make a mess, learn from your mistakes and multiply your success.

WHAT IS A COACH BY TOM LANDRY?

A coach is someone who tells you what you don't want to hear, who has you see what you don't

want to see so you can be who you have always known you could be!

That an awesome quote!  What do you think?
